Why is my driveway sinking on one side but not the other?
Clay soil under a slab dries and shrinks unevenly, faster near edges where moisture escapes quicker. That uneven shrink creates a void under one side while the center stays supported, so the driveway tilts instead of dropping flat.
How long before I can drive on a driveway after leveling?
If we use foam, usually about an hour. If we use slurry, plan on 24 to 48 hours before regular vehicle traffic to let the material set up.
Is filling the surface crack enough to fix the tilt?
No. A surface patch covers the crack but leaves the void underneath untouched. The slab will keep settling into that gap until it's actually filled.
Will my driveway need this again in a few years?
If the void gets filled completely and drainage around the edge is decent, most driveways hold. Repeat settling almost always traces back to water finding a new path under the slab.
Does driveway leveling work on cracked concrete too?
